Our First Look At The New Betting Site: Star Sports
Here i was minding my own business when a new bookmaker appeared.
Meet Star Sports.
UK-based Star Sports, led by Ben Keith, has expanded into Australia, bringing their renowned expertise in bookmaking.
Star Sports offers AI-generated race analysis, free form, and daily chances to win through their innovative Toolkit.
Australia’s very own Shane Ciurleo looks to have been appointed as General Manager who you might be familiar with from racing X.
Are They Any Good?
Bit early to say, but at first look. It looks promising.
I’ll spend the next week having a bet with Star Sports and update this review accordingly.
I went ahead and did the usual sign up form form. Fairly easy.
Website looks pretty good and words quite well, really like the colour-way.
For the most part, it all looks industry standard.
Looks to be a lot of fun had here.
As a horse racing and quaddie fan, I was a bit disappointed to see these were not available, it seems they only have, win/place, SRM, quinellas, exactas and trifectas.
The form guide is a bit light on but they have only just launched and I doubt many rely on a bookmakers form guide.
The odds looks fairly competitive, but as is the case with most betting sites these days. They’re all basically the same.
Features On Star Sports
AI Race Maps:
I can see in the menu that they have artificial intelligence generated race maps.
Sounds sexy, but it’s only available on metro meetings on Saturday’s so we will have to wait and see for that one.
Star Sports Toolkit:
Their promotions look pretty generous, but like always. You will need to be signed into to view these.
Our opinion, it’s worth the sign up.
Live Streaming:
doesn’t seem to be available currently.
Star Sports App
Currently it is only available to Apple users which is a bit of bummer (Samsung fan over here)
The Android version should be getting released fairly soon I assume.
