Located in the heart of Melbourne there are many options available to get to AAMI Park, however considering Melbourne is a sports and entertainment hub with many events on throughout the weekends Public transport is typically the best option when looking to get to the venue.

Car

Parking

Car parking is available in the Eastern Plaza Car Park located at Entrance D on Olympic Boulevard however we strongly recommend pre booking your parking as there are limited spaces available for drive up parking.

Pre Booked parking bookings close at midnight prior to the event.

Other Parking

There are other parking options available if you happen to miss out on drive up parking at AAMI Park, several private operators are located near the venue including Yarra Park, Secure Parking, Wilson Parking, and Centro Parking.

Accessible Parking

There are limited accessible parking bays located in front of John Cain Arena on Olympic Boulevard, however these must be pre-booked via Ticketek.

Drop Off and Pick Up

Pick up and Drop off points for accessible patrons are available at Entrances E and F with lifts available at both entrances to take guests to the concourse level, Gates 2 and 7 have dedicated lanes for accessible guests.

Public Transport

AAMI Park is located within 10 minutes of Melbourne’s CBD with trains, trams, and buses all stopping outside the precinct.

Train

Trains to the stadium are available from Richmond Station, Jolimont Station, and Flinders Street Station.

Tram

Wattle Park from Flinders Street and Richmond Stations (Tram 70) stops at AAMI Park, while the North Balwyn (Tram 48) and Vermont South (Tram 75) stop adjacent to the MCG on Wellington Parade just a short walk from the stadium.

Bus

Bus 246 running between Latrobe University and Elsternwick Station stops at the corner of Punt Road and Olympic Boulevard leaving a short stroll to the venue.

Taxi & Rideshare

Taxi

The most efficient way to hail a taxi is next to Melbourne Park Oval on Olympic Boulevard.

Rideshare

The pick-up and drop-off point for rideshare service like Uber and Didi is out the front of John Cain Arena on Olympic Boulevard.

Can you take water bottles into AAMI Park?

At AAMI Park, patrons are permitted to bring in soft plastic water bottles up to 750ml in capacity. Glass bottles, cans, metal containers, and hard plastic containers, including metal water bottles, are prohibited. All items will be visually inspected upon entry.

Are you allowed to take food into AAMI Park?

Yes, patrons are permitted to bring small amounts of food into AAMI Park. Please note that glass or metal containers are not allowed.

What is the dress code for the corporate box at AAMI Park?

At AAMI Park, the dress code for corporate boxes typically requires a minimum of smart casual attire. For instance, Melbourne Victory’s corporate suites specify smart casual dress, while their Chairman’s Function mandates corporate attire. Similarly, Melbourne City FC’s Melbourne Lounge accepts tailored shorts and team jerseys or scarves but prohibits singlets, thongs, or sports shorts. It’s advisable to confirm the specific dress requirements with your event organiser or host prior to attending.

Who owns AAMI Park?

Does AAMI Park check concessions?

What seats are undercover at AAMI Park?

At AAMI Park, the majority of seating is under cover, particularly in the upper tiers of the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western stands. However, seats in the front rows of these stands may be exposed to the elements, especially during adverse weather conditions. For instance, seats in section 84, row T, are noted to be under cover.

To ensure you select seats that are protected from rain or sun, it’s advisable to consult the stadium’s seating map and consider choosing seats located further back from the field.

Can you buy tickets at the gate at AAMI Park?

Yes, you can purchase tickets at the gate at AAMI Park. Ticket sales outlets open 15 minutes prior to gate opening times. However, for high-demand events, it’s advisable to buy tickets in advance through Ticketek to ensure availability.
