NBA Finals Game 3 Betting Tips

The 2023 NBA Finals are turning out to be a cracker, with the series locked at 1-1 after two thrilling games. The Denver Nuggets and the Miami Heat are putting on a show, demonstrating why they’re the top two teams this season.

Last week, the Nuggets took the lead with a 104-93 win in Game 1. However, the Heat bounced back in Game 2, showing their grit with a nail-biting 111-108 victory. The Heat’s defence and timely 3-point shooting made the difference, proving their resilience and willingness to fight back.

In the face of these electrifying performances, Game 3 promises to be a monumental clash. Will Miami continue to control the pace, or will Denver strike back? One thing’s certain – this is a showdown you won’t want to miss!

2023 NBA Finals Game 3

The stage is set for a colossal Game 3 in the 2023 NBA Finals. With the series evenly poised at 1-1, both the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets are locked in a fierce battle for supremacy.

The Nuggets have been riding high on the spectacular performances of Nikola Jokic, with an average of 34 points per game. Meanwhile, Miami’s Bam Adebayo is not far behind, demonstrating his skills with an average of 23.5 points per game.

However, the Heat have been hit with a setback as their versatile swingman, Herro, remains sidelined due to a hand injury. His absence from Game 3 could prove to be a significant hurdle for Miami.

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat are coming off a great upset win after handing the Nuggets their first home loss this playoff in game 2. Behind another great playoff performance from Jimmy Butler, but what allowed them to steal this game on the road was the exceptional play of Miami’s supporting cast with Gabe Vincent putting up 23 points Max Strus with 14 and Duncan Robinson with 10 4th quarter points.

Although the Heat were able to steal this one, they shot 48% from three as a team on the night and still only one by 3 points. Their defence on Jokic has still been very lacklustre and unless they can shoot the ball that well in game 3 they are going to struggle.

Heat Injuries

  • Cody Zeller – Sprained Right Foot
  • Tyler Herro – Hand
  • Victor Oladipo – Knee Surgery

Denver Nuggets

The NBA world was shocked Monday as the Nuggets dropped a game at home to the Heat and allowed them to level the series at one a piece. Although Jokic was still incredible putting up 41 points, the below average play from the rest of the Nuggets starters cost them the game.

With Michael Porter Jr scoring 5 points, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scoring 6 and Jamal Murray putting up only 18 it was always going to be tuff to win the game.

But only losing by 3 with so many poor performances it is a good sign for the Nuggets and will be a good test to see how they bounce back on the road.

NBA Finals Game 3 Prediction

both the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets have shown tremendous skill and resilience in the 2023 NBA Finals, and the outcome of Game 3 could hinge on a few key factors.

Miami Heat has proven their mettle, winning Game 2 on the road and handing the Nuggets their first home loss this playoff. Their success was largely due to the exceptional play of their supporting cast, with Gabe Vincent, Max Strus, and Duncan Robinson contributing significantly to the scoreboard. However, their three-point shooting, which was crucial in their victory, could be a concern. Achieving a 48% success rate from behind the arc may be difficult to replicate in Game 3, and with their defence against Jokic still lacking, they could face challenges. Furthermore, the injury to Tyler Herro and others could dent their performance.

On the other hand, despite the Nuggets’ surprising loss at home in Game 2, their overall performance was not poor. Jokic’s remarkable 41-point contribution underscores his vital role in the team. However, the underperformance of other key players like Michael Porter Jr, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Jamal Murray could be worrisome. If these players can bounce back and deliver in Game 3, the Nuggets could regain their momentum.

In conclusion, the outcome of Game 3 is uncertain and could go either way. Both teams have shown weaknesses and strengths that could tip the scales in their favour. For the Miami Heat, maintaining their three-point shooting efficiency and improving their defence against Jokic could be crucial, while for the Denver Nuggets, a collective performance from all players, not just Jokic, will be essential. Regardless of the outcome, Game 3 promises to be a thrilling contest.
