Warwick Farm racecourse is the venue for midweek racing in Sydney
The rail is in the +5m mark from the 1000m-W/Post; +3m Remainder and the weather is looking overcast with the chance of a late shower, but should go close to holding out with the track remaining a Good 4.

Crazy to think this horse has run solidly well behind listed placegetter DECLICHY BOULEVARD and Group 3 placegetter WANARUAH.
Her last run was in July, so she has had a 74 day break but has had the trial in between which was a nice tick over for her.
She gets a lovely draw to sit in behind the speed and a strong rider in Nash Rawiller aboard.
She is definitely over the odds in what looks an even race.

Two horse play for me here.
POPPIN CHAMPAGNE won really well first-up at Newcastle before coming to midweek grade and running admirably.
Love the step up to the mile here third-up where she is a listed place getter in Adelaide.
She draws well and maps well.
MOUNTAIN TOP is the other I like and she had back to back wins to start her campaign before tackling a F&M BM78 on a Saturday, finishing 2.2 lengths off ITS A KNOCKOUT, 0.7 lengths off VIVY AIR and beating home SEQUESTERED.
She is another who maps well, drawn well and back in grade.

Value to be had here, so I am backing two horses.
SIR ARTIE should take natural improvement here fourth-up after winning over this track and distance third-up, with heat stress.
He rates well, has won carrying weight previously and although the draw isn’t the greatest, there isn’t a lot of speed engaged here, so I expect them to try their luck.
HEMAN has been racing in Open, Listed, Group 2’s and Group 3’s his entire eight start career, except for his maiden race.
He comes back to a BM78 following a decent trial and gets a brilliant draw with Tommy Berry aboard.
Oh and he is coming back lighter, which will keep his mind on the job. (Gelded)

Best Bet of the afternoon.
EXTREMELY HARDYS spanked her rivals on debut at Canterbury in July before being put away for a rest.
It’s been 84 days since that run and she has had a trial last week to get her ready for this first-up assignment.
Wide draw doesn’t hurt as she will head forward, set her own pace and hopefully kick away.
Tim Clark retains the ride, and he is the right man for the job on a front-runner.
Let’s hope she can turn heavy form into ‘good’ form… see what I did there?
