Best Bets For Sandown
Race 2: #7 THE SHOWVINIST & #10 TARTAGLIA
Should be ready to run a nice race here.
Zahra takes the ride and should be able to be more positive than previous starts.
Was away only fairly last start and once clear started to get into his work, but the race was over by then.
This doesn’t look like an overly strong race, and the 25-day break should bring some freshness back into his legs.
#10 TARTAGLIA is another bet I’m keen on.
FU off a 126-day break, but both trials leading in suggest he’s come back a better horse.
The recent trial looked great; it was under a hold while ANGEL CAPITAL was scrubbed along to get past.
The trial before that was closing off best, beating some really nice horses in PISCES, KINTYRE, and JEDIBEEL.
I suspect he’s set for some better races.
Race 4: #10 DIVINE THOUGHTS – 1×4
If they’re not making up ground on the day, then i think DIVINE THOUGHTS can give a sight 2UP
Should be able to control things from gate 1 and lead and ask the question of the chasers.
Blake Shinn takes the ride, which is a positive gear change.
Obviously showing respect to NO FUSS, who is lightly raced and looks ready for this step up in trip.
Horses I’m Keen Watch
Race 6: #6 BRONTE BEACH
Has trialled well in prep for this but draws the car park.
Certainly can win but would like to see the return first as this is a deep field with the short quote.
Race 8: #5 KING ZEPHYR
Pretty soft win in the end last start.
The figures from that run were good; he should be a group horse.
Deep field and the short qoute keep me reserved.
