A tremendous day of racing at Royal Randwick racecourse this Saturday, highlighted by the Group 2 Chelmsford Stakes, Group 2 Tramway Stakes, Group 2 Furious Stakes and the Group 3 Concorde Stakes.
The rail is out 6m for the entire circuit, and with good weather forecast, a Good 4 will be the likely track.

This is a race with a long tail, and this girl is all class.
Returning after poor run in the Goodwood 93 days ago and a preparation to forget.
Her numbers are always solid fresh, but her first-up run two preparations ago which was over the 1400m in the Let’s Elope is unmatched by any of these runners.
Her trials have been very good, she gets a good speed in front of her from a nice gate, and as I mentioned, her fresh record is brilliant, she just needs to show the world that she is back.

The Silver Shadow is the form reference here and the other form lines just don’t match up for this.
MANAAL was brilliant in defeat, giving her rivals weight and still managing to go down by the narrowest of margins.
She now comes back to the field at level weights, getting a 1kg swing on them whilst having the run under the belt.
I think there is a chance for them to be a bit more positive here, which will give her a great winning chance from the draw.
ZEITUNG was coming with the winner of the Silver Shadow before being chopped out late, and arguably should have finished closer.
With a better draw, I expect a closer run in transit and at the price, isn’t a bad saver.
Selections: #1 MANAAL & #9 ZEITUNG

This is a cracking race, and I believe many questions will be answered following this one.
AFT CABIN looks a value bet with slight queries on most of these runners. Having lost his manhood in the break, he has trialled up brilliantly in the lead-up to this and what is even scarier, is he has always been a good fresh horse with his knackers, and now he looks to have come back better.
His ratings first-up is good enough to be competitive if not win this and at the $7.00 mark, he is worth a bet to find out.

Distance: 1100m | Class: BM78 4YO+| Exp Tempo: Solid
Highly winnable race for this girl.
Won like a rocket first-up at Warwick Farm before pulling her head off last start, came into the race like a winner before fading for a 3.6L fifth, later revealing to be lame.
Good draw, good map, Nash Rawiller on and back to Mares grade all ticks.
Selections: #1 LOST

Distance: 1200m | Class: CL3 HWY | Exp Tempo: Solid
Going for back-to-back Highway wins.
He won really well in the Class 2 version first-up, running a near peak to beat a similar field by 0.8L, with over 3.5L+ back to third.
He now carries half a kilo less, gets a nice enough draw and the speed on. Will need some luck from the gate but Collett knows this bloke well enough, and with clear air, we go close.

Leg 1: 1, 3, 4, 5
Leg 2: 10
Leg 3: 2, 3, 8, 12
Leg 4: 8, 9, 17, 19
