Grafton racecourse plays host to Country racing in New South Wales this weekend.
The rail is in the 3m position for the entire course and the track will likely be a Good 4.

Best Bet
RACE 2: #8 SAXINOUE – $2.80 (1.5u).
Settled with this son of Saxon Warrior who is beginning his second preparation as a three-year-old. SAXINOUE was just battling first-up last preparation before making a mess of his opposition second-up, when he stepped up to the 1200m against the older horses.
He has had two trials this time in, finishing second to PREEMPTORY on both occasions but it’s the first trial I want to follow, being on much better ground and around some of Queensland’s better runners.
I love the potential good track for him here to begin his campaign and he also gets 3kg off with the apprentice aboard, which will give him a big weight advantage. He just needs to return a touch better than his first preparation and he will be hard to stop.
