Trialled up against Mornington Glory on the 1st of July and wasn’t asked to do anything at all.
Mornington Glory was asked for a bit and still didn’t pull all that far away.
The booking of Shinn says it’s all systems go.
He maps well, likes the conditions which i can’t quite say for MG confidently.

#11 HE’S BESET ❌
He’s a beauty for Nick Ryan,
Just missed last start when powering home, the step up here is going to suit.
Think he can just stalk the leaders backs and peel out on the turn to let rip.
The other runners short in the market, El Rocko, Step Aside look to map poorly and may find it difficult to get clear air.
Post Race: Interesting tactic to drag him back on a leaders track, pre race map out the window. Didn’t fire a shot, could be a complete forgive run if the stewards report comes up nil.

Ready to do something i feel.
Get’s in really well at the weights.
Maps well, can peel and burn if they’re running on.
The fast tempo is going to suit him.
Post Race: LE PARRAIN was up against the pattern unfortunately. Loomed up but didn’t fire a shot. Hopefully a few took MARBLE NINE from our thoughts below.
Other Thoughts/Value Selections
Race 1: Looks to setup nicely for Enna’s Dream now with the scratching Miss Roumbini. She should be winning. If you were looking some value in the race #6 WAIMARIE & #7 UNTOUCHABLE LEGEND are in with a sniff.
Post Race: WAIMARIE (2nd) has gone huge, one to follow. ✅
Race 2: As per above, quite keen on #11 HE’S BESET. Think he just maps beautifully and can stalk the speed and scream home. One at odds that i think the market has missed is #4 SANDPAPER. Lane on, 3rd up, down in class. Ready.
Post Race: HE’S BESET comments above ❌ , SANDPAPER went super running 2nd. El Rocko was huge. ✅
Race 3: Tricky race with so many first starters engaged. Thought #1 HUSK was in with a shout, 1100m will suit and she’s fit and has the experience on the track and conditions.
Post Race: HUSK(2nd) huge, ran into a smart first starter. ✅
Race 4: Not quite sure the market has this correct. I don’t rate Rezone at that price. Can’t believe #7 BOGA LEGEND is around $5. #1 MATUSALEM next best.
Post Race: What a race, 3 way go all the way down the straight. BOGA LEGEND couldnt go with them in the final 100-50m to run 3rd ✅ MATUSALEM was against the pattern and has come home quite well, follow next start.
Race 5: Will let one go through to the keeper.
Race 6: Another wide open race, i don’t really rate those at the top of the market. Could be some value to be had here. I gave good chances to #5 TOBAYSURE, #8 WATADEEL, #10 CRACKERJACK PRINCE, #13 BRITISH COLUMBIA all really juicy prices.
Post Race: What a run from BRITISH COLUMBIA, landed in the gun spot on speed and put them to the sword at the top of the straight and said catch me if you can. If you follow us on Twitter (you should) we nibbled this bloke at $46 on Thursday. ✅
Race 7: See above for comments around #8 LE PARRAIN who i give a great chance too. #10 MARBLE NINE is another one i will be backing believe Caulfield is going to suit her.
Post Race: LE PARRAIN was up against the pattern unfortunately. MARBLE NINE was huge, really thought she would relish at Caulfield and did ✅
Race 8: See above for comments around #2 RECOMMENDATION. #1 ASHFORD STREET next best.
Post Race: Arrogant win for RECOMMENDATION, go and watch the replay if you didn’t watch the race. ✅
Race 9: #8 ST LAWRENCE is the one i want. Conditions and setup suit today. Don’t write off #9 ASTERO who is a great chance at the price.
Post Race: Another disgustingly rude win by Mr Blake Shinn on ASTERO, that was huge. ✅
