Getting to GMHBA Stadium
Situated 75 kilometres from Melbourne, GMHBA stadium is accessible by following the Princes Freeway over the Westgate Bridge all the way into Geelong then turning left onto Kilgour Street and then making an immediate right, taking you directly to the GMHBA Stadium main entrance.
Parking
On major event days, there is extremely limited paid parking available at the Park Crescent entrance and is accessible on a first come first served basis.
Accessible parking is located in the B6 parking area via Latrobe Terrace and is available on a first come first served basis, all accessibility patrons must have their accessible parking sticker displayed clearly to gain access to these areas.
On non-major event days there is free parking available throughout the Kardinia Park precinct with accessible parking available out the front of Sport House on Moorabool Street, limited spaces available out the front of the Premiership stand within the A3 car park, and in front of the Kardinia Aquatic Centre along Park Crescent.
Train
Catching a train to GMHBA Stadium will take approximately 1 hour from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station, the Geelong Railway Station 1.8 kilometres to the north of the stadium and South Geelong Station located 450 metres to the east.
On major event days additional V/Line services are provided to accomodate for the extra patrons.
Taxi and Ride Share
There is a taxi rank located on Verner Street that can be used once events have finished.
For ride share services such as Uber and Didi, there is no set pick up and drop off location however it is suggested to walk away from the facility prior to pickup to avoid getting stuck in traffic congestion.
