ENGIE Stadium was originally created as the main arena for the Sydney Showgrounds in the 1990s, the stadium was renovated in 2012 and renamed GIANTS stadium, becoming home the the GWS Giants, and was renamed ENGIE Stadium in 2024.

ENGIE Stadium is located in the heart of Greater Sydney making the venue easily accessible by all means of transport.
Driving:
If you choose to drive to ENGIE Stadium, it will take around 20 minutes from the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

Free Parking:
Located along the Grand Parade Olympic Boulevard, and Dawn Fraser Avenue there are 2-hour free parking spaces available, however keep in mind that on event days these will not last the duration of the event and will most liely be taken up if you don’t arrive early (best to skip them during events).
Casual Parking:
Casual parking is available at Sydney Olympic Park with over 10,000 spaces available thanks to the infrastructure built for the Sydney Olympics. Carparks P1, P5, and P6 are the closest carparks to ENGIE Stadium costing $7.00 per hour, which maxes out at $35.00 per day.
Pre-booking you parking on event days is recommended and comes at a flat fee of $35.00.
Public Transport:
Thanks to Sydney for being one of the major tourism hubs of Australia, public transport is one of the many things this city has in abundance including trains, buses, and ferry services.
Train:
The closest train station to ENGIE Stadium is the Olympic Park train station, located on the Sydney Showgrounds doorstep, The Sprint service travelling between Lidcombe and Olympic Park stations runs daily every 10 minutes and is the primary source of transport for event attendees.

Bus:
Bus service operate directly to Sydney Olympic Park from a number of primary locations including Lidcombe, Strathfield, and Parramatta, be sure to check the latest bus timetable at transportnsw to ensure you do not get miss your bus.
Ferry:
Running daily between Circular Quay and Parramatta, Sydney Ferries stop at Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf, just north of ENGIE Stadium. Travellers by ferry must also catch a connecting bus, though I must admit, it is certainly a fun way to make your way to an event.
