Home Advantage – The Home Advantage column represents games where there is a clear advantage for one team over another. For instance, if the Brisbane Broncos are playing at home against the Sydney Roosters, the Broncos would have a significant advantage due to various factors, including travel distance for the opposing team, local fan base, and even slight time differences (although minor in Australia, they are still worth noting since night games can vary by several hours).
Away Disadvantage – The Away Disadvantage column represents games won where the team had a distinct disadvantage. For instance, this could be a game where the North Queensland Cowboys travel to New South Wales to play the Sydney Roosters, where the Roosters have a very loyal fan base, there is a slight time difference, and the Cowboys will be playing on a field they rarely visit.
Neutral – While we do not have a neutral column displayed, neutral games are matches played with no significant home or away advantage. These include matches with a loyal fan base for both teams, games that might not be played at the home stadium but still within the surrounding area, such as Parramatta Eels (Bankwest Stadium home ground) playing against Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (ANZ Stadium).
